I have made some pretty nice beats on FL. It would be hard as fuck for me to explain or learn in words tho. I used videos when I first started and friends advice in person.

Ok How Does One Construct A Fine Beat

Creativeness? Just keep messing with it
But one thing youll need is "Cut Itself"
You do that by clicking on an instrument that is on your sequence pattern then clicking the Misc Tab
There, you should see a little section that says "Cut Cut by" Then a button that says "Cut itself" on bottom of that
This will come in very handy when messing with samples
AND THOSE you can access by clicking the Master Control/Mixer button, which is 3 buttons to the right of the step sequencer
Then clicking on one of those arrows to the right of the mixer
Then you click on "Edison", which should be a little to the top left
