I want to buy a Golf Hoodie there is a green or brown one. I want the brown one but the xs is sold out. In the green size there is xs. In the brown one there is small and i am a xs do you think I should just buy the green one or buy the brown one or just wait?

Whats your favorite album, not talking about the"best". I'm talking about that one album that'd be buried with you in your grave.

Album
Artist
Year
Genre

Why?

This is also a great way to discover music 8)

I'll add mine in a bit.

Easiest. Question. Ever.

Posted Image
Album Oblivion With Bells
Artist Underworld
Year 2007
Genre Electronic

Why? Underworld is my favorite band of all time and essentially sent me into a whirlwind of a lot of electronic music and are essentially the reason why I am an electronic music freak more than I am into hip hop. And always will.
This album in particular, I asked my dad to pre-order it for me (I was a junior in high school who was jobless by choice, hahaha) - since it was a CD, DVD, AND a limited edition t-shirt. It came in the day before the American release date (October 15th, 2007 - somehow that date will always be ingrained in me) and I was sick by this time. I ripped it onto the computer, I put it ALL on my 2 GB iPod, I listened to it and was SO happy through the first listen-through. Then "Best Mamgu Ever", the last song, came on, and I pretty much cried. It was so amazing and warm and healing on the first listen.
After that time, me + fam learned that I had come down with pneumonia and had to stay in the hospital for the rest of the week. I couldn't laugh without coughing constantly and I felt really really miserable since usually, laughing is second nature to me (I do it rather loudly too, hahaha). Luckily, I brought my iPod with me and listened to the album in the hospital too. And I drew every day, no matter how tired I felt (that's how devoted I am to my craft - I draw EVERY DAY, literally). I'd write down lyrics from the songs and just...yeah.

"Best Mamgu Ever" is essentially my favorite song of all time. Perfect length (8 minutes), perfect soundscape, perfect voice sampling + editing, perfect arrangement, and that piano. Nothing has ever compared to it. Nothing! Whenever it comes up on shuffle, I would refuse to skip it. It's essentially the perfect ending to a perfect album. It's because of this album that I think ANYTHING by Underworld is flawless, no matter what.

I am a hardcore fangirl, what can I say?

Artist - Opeth
Album - Blackwater Park
Genre - Progressive metal
Year - 2001

Why? It's completely beautiful. I've heard it loads of times yet I find something new every time I hear it. It's different from every other metal ever made. It got me into Death metal. No words can describe this album. All of this is pointless, go listen to it.

In an approximate but not exact order:

The College Dropout - Kanye West
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy - Kanye West
The Marshall Mathers LP - Eminem
The Slim Shady LP - Eminem
Late Registration - Kanye West
Food and Liquor - Lupe Fiasco

Don't want to seem like I'm stanning hard since these were free giveaway albums made in a basement, but Bastard and Earl would probably be next.

Explosions In The Sky - The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place
Nine Inch Nails - The Fragile

I feel like i kind of outgrew IT, I'm sick of hearing him whine about George Bush politics. Before I was a HUGE fan, I think Vol.1 was more lyrical and Vol.2 was heavily political. I did like them both them.

Immortal is a beast. I can see how some outgrow his music because of his social and political views. I still bump his shit, though.

Favorite song from the album:

I hate only picking one album. Fuck. But my personal favorite would probably be either Illmatic or Deltron 3030. So many "oh shit, did I really just hear that" moments. Could play both albums from start to finish without skipping a second.

Deltron 3030 another masterpiece.
Deltron Event II is in the works. It should be dropping sometime this year.

Band: We Butter the Bread with Butter
Album: Der Tag an dem die Welt Unterging (The Day the World went Down)
Genre: German Metal
Why: Simply amazing. This is my favorite metal album of all time..every song is just so epic and the entire album flows. The members of the band are geniuses and it's very melodic and can even relax me more than Wolfgang fuckin' Amadeus or pump me up like Pantera.

nah i don't really collect autographs, but that is fuckign amazing. hes not allowed into canada i don't think. i get what you mean by outgrew, but i'm a really political person, so i will always love him. i havne't listened to any technique in probably a year, but when i just throw on a technique track, i will listen to him for days.

Dominant species, the getaway, and positive balances were some pretty hard tracks lyrically on vol.1, hes more of a battle rapper though, not really a poet.

and i wanna add this:

Ah Tical, great album.

Thought I make a little top 10 since it's to damn hard to really say that 36th Chambers i my top favorite ...

Wu-Tang Clan - "36 Chambers"

GZA - "Liquid Swords"

A Tribe Called Quest - "The Low End Theory"

Dr Octagon - "Self-Titled"

Lords Of The Underground - "Here Comes The Lords"

Digable Planets - "Reaching"

Ol' Dirty Bastard - "Return To the 36th Chambers"

Dinosaur Jr - "Green Mind"

Kent - "Self-Titled"

Blink 182 - "Dude Ranch"

Those are probably the albums I've been listening to the most through my 20 years of living.
