Many say that the new European Champion will come out of Group B, the death group, which counts with three former European Champions and the 2004 finalist and 2000 semi-finalist, most appoint Germany or the Netherlands as the winners, but the truth is Portugal and Denmark are sure to cause a ruckus and certainly won't go down without a fight. Portugal, combining a creative play style supported by midfielders like Ronaldo, Nani and Moutinho and the cynical approach of a team that has a solid defense which compensates for the occasional lack of efficacy of the attack, Portugal aims just at getting in the knockout stage, but if they do, it's more than possible that Portugal might replace Germany or the Netherlands in the final.

In my opinion the second greatest player in the world today (second only to the magical Messi) Need a International title that first got away in 2004, and then again in 2006. No doubt the star of the team, and a serious candidate to Player of the Tournament.
Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)
A great winger who sometimes seems to live on the shade of Cristiano Ronaldo on the national team, a marvelous player who can play on either side of the attack. Had another consistent season this year, as he has had for the past 5 years on United.
Nani (Manchester United)
Be on the lookout for:
A young (20 years old) striker who plays for Benfica, commonly called the future national team's attack. With a play style similar of Wayne Rooney and David Villa, always moving and very confortable creating plays, good passing skils, good dribbling and a sense for looking for oppurtunities to strike at goal. He spent the first half of the season on the shade of Cardozo and Rodrigo but appeared on th second half of the season as a viable option, his potential was recently recognized with the interest of Barcelona on signing him in the near future. I believe he won't have as many chances as he should in this Euro, but when he does be on the lookout for a possible future world class striker.Surprises:
Nélson Oliveira (Benfica)
The inclusion of Miguel Lopes, Custódio and Rúben Micael.
The exclusion of Quim instead of Eduardo and Hugo Viana (included later, on May 23rd due to Carlos Martins' Injury) instead of Rúben Micael.
