I know some people who can only get into what they're reading if they have a physical copy(hard copy/paperback). Personally, anytime I find something I want to read, I find the .pdf and upload to my iPhone or just read it off my laptop.

I need the book, as nerdy as it sounds, I hate the strain on my eye that I imagine while reading something off of a screen. I also try to read an hour I go to sleep because it helps my sleeping pattern.

I've been reading pdf files also. But that's only because I'm a broke nigga. If I could, I'd get the hard copy.

I honestly have the hardest time reading any kind of book on the computer. I definitely prefer a physical copy and so I rarely actually read a large amount of text on the internet (forum posts, essays, short poems and stories are an exception, of course). It is painfully bothersome when a physical copy is just hard to find. I have had the hardest time trying to find anything by Kropotkin and I usually had to order it and pay more than usual. Also, though I am fluent in three languages, I prefer reading books in English (unless of course I master the language that the original writing was written in, then I always read it as intended).

Yeah, I need the book..I find it too hard to focus if i'm reading something off a laptop. Short stories, poems, essays, etc. are cool online though.

The reading a hour before sleep thing like BEazy said sounds dope..might try that.

With my eyes...

OK that sounded stupid.

Yeah I prefer books, anytime I have a chance I read the book I want to read the traditional way, anyway, as I'm not rich and the public library does not always have the books I'm looking for, when I'm short on money (almost always) I have to use my iPhone, but it sucks ass tbh...

I need to actually hold the book in my hands. I spend enough time on my laptop as is, so any additional reading done on it would be too much. Besides, the screen hurts my eyes if I'm reading PDFs for too long.

I like the feel of a book, but I don't have a problem with reading on my laptop or kindle. What I really need to read is somewhere comfy to sit, coffee, and silence.

I like reading hard copies of books. I tried reading a regular book on my phone but it didn't really work out for me. However for some reason when it comes to manga I don't really have trouble reading it on computers and devices.
