Hey guys, I decided that'd it'd be nice to discuss an album every week, whether it be a new release or an old one. So let's discuss JT's newest album "The 20/20 Experience." 

 

I really liked this album. The songs are very long for pop standards but JT pulls it off with great production and vocals. The only problems I had with the album is that it can be repetitive at times in the songs but before it gets too repetitive, there's usually a change of pace or beat change. I'm going to give this album a 9/10.

 

If you gave it a listen, what do you think, love it, hate it, why, and what should we review next?

all in all the album is like an 8/10 or somewhere around there for me. I end up skipping tracks on replays so it's not perfect but it's still really good.

U should do albums that not everyone will check out anyways, its not like someone will see this thread and be like "damn I need to peep that new JT, cuz I forgot about it"

Its a good idea for a thread I just feel like the albums that get featured in the thread should be more Lowkey hidden gems

The album is new and most people have checked it out, decent first choice. Something most people know about, more lowkey hidden stuff will be added in future weeks.

Thad's suggestion is good too but idk, something well known-ish works too I think. 20/20 might be a little too far on the well-known side of things, but I wouldn't want us to be reviewing like, Busdriver albums or other super-divisive stuff. Cuz then you get like one person who likes it and everyone else thinks it's shit.
