I don't think a musical would work personally. The album is already an hour and ten minutes long and it wouldn't give a lot of space to expand on events and be it's own thing which I'd prefer. 

Why do I get the feeling the only thing about the Wolf movie that was actually worked on so far is the trailer we got a few months ago?

I just hope that once Tyler does finish this "story line", he doesn't stop making music. He's said in the past that he doesn't plan on making music the rest of his life but it'd be too soon for him to stop right now.

If this is true, I suspect Bastard > Wolf > Goblin > Tyler film > EarlWolf

He did say in 2015 it'll all make sense, so 2015 may be the year EarlWolf comes out, but I'm sure Tyler will release another solo album.

I like to think that he didn't have it planned out until after Bastard. Think about it...

He made Bastard just being a regular album,

Then when Earl was in Samoa and Tyler knew Earl couldn't be on goblin Tyler planned out he rest of the story.

So he decided that his third album was going to be a prequel to his second.

He has Earl die in the prequel (WOLF) so it gives a good explanation in the story line as to why Earl isnt on Goblin.

i don't really get why everyone is thinking it will be so shit. don't expect it to be comparable to your favourite million dollar budget film with a-list actors. its basically a couple overgrown teenagers with a little fame expanding on ideas that their fan base has approved of. it will be cool unless you have unrealistic expectations. as long as it has some humour and is pretty to look at, i will be more than happy.
